The Pend Oreille Arts Council is thrilled to be able to invite the public to an extraordinary exhibit opening Friday, Nov. 2 at Columbia Bank Community Plaza, Third and Oak.

This show features the artwork of two talented Sandpoint High School AP art students, Alana Seifert and Kelda Rial and an artists’ reception in their honor will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Utilizing art to define and substantiate the chaos of the world, Rial and Seifert both explore the nature of the human form and the complexity of thought in different mediums. Guided through their AP class by art teacher, Heather Guthrie, this exhibit is not only a celebration of their oeuvre, but also of their upcoming, December graduation.

Whether or not art continues to be the primary focus of their education, POAC applauds Seifert and Rial and invites the public to come view their amazing creativity. This exhibit will be on display until Dec. 5.

For more information about this exhibit or other events POAC sponsors, go to artinsandpoint.org or call the office at 208-263-6139.
