Trader Joe's to open Coeur d'Alene store today
Work continued last week on the Trader Joe's store in Coeur d'Alene.

Trader Joe’s new store in Coeur d'Alene is scheduled to open today, Nov. 12.
The 10,362-square-foot store at 303 E. Spokane Ave. will be the third Trader Joe’s in Idaho, a press release said.
Before doors open at 8 a.m. there will be a brief ribbon cutting. Store Captain Jackee Piller and Trader Joe’s crew members will welcome customers.
The store’s interior artwork will feature Lake Coeur d'Alene, The Coeur d'Alene Resort Marina, Tubbs Hill, Paul Bunyan, Sasquatch, and other local flora and fauna, including bald eagles, bears and moose.
The store hired more than 70 people from surrounding areas and transferred in others from neighboring Trader Joe’s stores.
Through the company’s Neighborhood Shares Program, the Coeur d’Alene Trader Joe’s will donate 100% of products that go unsold but remain fit to nonprofits.
