NAMPA (AP) — An attempt to find the remains of a woman missing for 54 years by digging up the floor of a southwestern Idaho school district office failed to find anything.

Nampa police tell the Idaho Press-Tribune that the search conducted in recent days at the Nampa School District produced no results.

Fifty-one-year-old Lillian Richey disappeared in 1964, about the same time the school district office was being built.

Police say cadaver dogs and technology experts found indications a body might be buried in the building in March.

The area was excavated for three days starting June 20, but police say no body was discovered.

School district spokeswoman Kathleen Tuck says repairs to the office floor will begin next week with the help of a donation from Dillabaugh’s Flooring.
