Construction on Faurot Field’s south end zone will continue through the summer. The South End Zone Project, which is expected to cost $98 million in total, began with demolition in March 2018 and is intended to finish before MU’s home opener against West Virginia on Sept. 7, 2019. The project includes suites, club seats and a field-level club, and will decrease Memorial Stadium’s capacity from 71,168 to 65,000.
