Junior SS Chris Cornelius was chosen by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 16th round of the MLB draft, according to a release by the Missouri Athletics department.

Two other Tigers were selected by teams recently: Junior LHP Jacob Cantleberry and senior RHP Cameron Dulle. Cantleberry was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 13th round, and Dulle was picked by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 30th round.

Under head coach Steve Bieser, 16 MU athletes have been picked in the MLB draft.

Emanuel Hall to miss OTAs due to surgery

Former MU wide receiver Emanuel Hall, now an undrafted free agent, will miss the Chicago Bears’ OTAs due to surgery.

The surgery is similar to the one Trey Burton received for a sports hernia, Bleacher Nation reported.

Hall is expected to be back for training camp after his recovery, which would still make him a prospect for the season-opening roster.
