Democrats are being foolish over border wall funding

Print Article

I wish the television media would show old clips of past presidents and some politicians back as far as Richard Nixon talking about the necessity of some sort of a barrier or wall along the Mexico-U.S. border to prevent illegals from entering our country. The key word here is “illegal” which is against the law.

Even Chuck Schumer of New York had a video out nine years ago saying essentially the same things word for word that President Donald Trump is currently saying. There is even a very old short clip available by Nancy Pelosi stating a barrier or a wall between Mexico and the USA would be a good thing. Now she states, “there will be no money available for a wall, period.” Yet the Democratic Congress just approved a couple of billion dollars to build a barrier or a wall. What a fool she is. It’s not enough money but it’s a start. So much for Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s comments.
