The Injectors Classic Car Club and Arby’s Restaurant will kick off the Lost in the ‘50s weekend Wednesday with “Locals Nite.”

An annual event for 16 years, Locals Nite features local Sandpoint car club, The Injectors, and their classic cars from hot rods to rat rods and classic trucks to classy sedans. The event takes place Wednesday, May 15, 5 to 8 p.m.

Locals Nite is an opportunity to spotlight and enjoy the local car club up close as well as visit with the car owners, who are proud of their amazing restorations and ground-up rebuilt vintage and classic vehicles and enjoy showing them off.

It’s a revisit of the days of meeting at the drive-in to see and be seen. Arby’s parking lot at 420 Fifth Ave. is a spot for local residents to enjoy viewing Sandpoint’s classic cars and visiting with their owners in anticipation for the big ‘50s weekend.

Follow Injectors Sandpoint and Sandpoint Arby’s on FaceBook and Instagram for more information.
