We gave our child a credit card with a $1,000 limit and told him to do a budget that would allow him to keep his spending reasonable. He then blames us, the taxpayer, for causing this mess and gets upset when we ask him to stop spending money that he doesn’t have.

COEUR d’ALENE — The Sandpoint girls beat Post Falls 82-67, Lewiston 77-68 and Lakeland 92-30 to earn the duals sweep recently at a four-team meet at the Kroc Center in Coeur d’Alene. The Bulldog boys lost 49-47 to Lakeland, 79-41 to Lewiston and 80-29 to Post Falls in the team scoring.
