Assessor, DMV opening dates set

SANDPOINT — The Assessor’s and Department of Motor Vehicle (vehicle licensing) office will open to the public on May 4.

“We are going to try to maintain social distancing,” Assessor Donna Gow said in announcing the planned openings for early next month.

Bonner County residents are asked to only come to the office for title transfers, with Gow asking that residents to please continue renewals on the computer or by mail. The doors for DMV will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

The Assessor’s Office will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a limited number of people allowed in the lobby.
