Sandpoint reopening city facilities

| April 30, 2020 7:43 PM

Sandpoint City Hall will re-open to the public at 8 a.m. on Friday. All public services will be provided from the front desk on the first floor and the public is encouraged to follow social distancing.

Disposable masks and hand sanitizer are provided at the main entrance to City Hall to protect members of the public and city staff. These practices are recommended by the CDC guidance referred to in Gov. Brad Littleā€™s reopening guidance.

City Hall is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The first hour, 8-9 a.m., each day is reserved for seniors and other vulnerable members of the community.

While in-person services are again offered, the public is encouraged to continue taking advantage of all the online services the City has to offer. This includes online access to utility services, garbage service changes, payment of parking tickets, dog licenses, business licenses, burn permits and all building and planning permits. These services are available on the Permits and Licenses page at www.sandpointidaho.gov, and can be accessed through the Engage Sandpoint mobile app. The app can be downloaded in the iTunes or GooglePlay store.

All staff offices, including the Planning and Building area, will remain closed to the public. Meetings will be held by appointment only. To make an appointment with Planning and Building, please call 208-263-3428 or email development@sandpointidaho.gov.
