Person suffers gunshot wound

COCOLALLA — A person was evacuated by air ambulance on Tuesday evening after suffering a gunshot wound.

Bonner County Sheriff’s deputies and Bonner County EMS personnel were summoned to the 1900 block of Fish Creek Road at 7:01 p.m.

A landing zone was established in the 2000 block of Fish Creek Road for a Life Flight Network helicopter. The person was airborne at approximately 7:39 p.m.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately available on Tuesday night.
