Stephen Allen Michael Estes, 32

Stephen Allen Michael Estes, 32, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020, near Sandpoint. Idaho.

A family celebration of life, for Stephen, will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Maher residence on Talache Road in Sagle.

Stephen was born on Feb. 16, 1988, in Spokane, Wash.. He grew up in the Sagle area, attending Sagle Elementary School and Sandpoint High School. He worked locally in landscaping, gardening and as a carpenter in the construction of homes. He married Makala Strand in Sandpoint. He enjoyed cooking and creating pencil artworks.

Stephen is survived by his son, Anton; his mother, Pamela Estes; his father, James Maher; two brothers, Christopher J. Estes and Daniel Maher; his sister, Rebecca Maher; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and by his aunt, Freida Bell.
