Ronald DeVon Powell, 92

Ronald DeVon Powell, 92, died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

He was born on March 3r 192,8 in Montebello, California, to his parents, DeVon and Evelyn Powell. He graduated high school in 1946 and moved to Idaho where he was an avid hydroplane boat enthusiast and mechanic. He married Pearl Victoria Thies in 1961 and they settled in Hope, Idaho, to raise their family.

He is survived by his children, William (Britt), Peter (Marchelle), Daniel (Julie), Lisa, (Steve), John (Wendy) and Joseph; as well as 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Joyce, his wife Pearl and a son, Frank.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
