Lights on to extend Memorial Field work

SANDPOINT — Due to the shorter daylight hours this time of year, city officials said Memorial Field lights may be turned on from approximately 4-6 p.m. daily through the end of the month.

The move is to extend the work day for the city’s contractor, who is completing work on the baseball dugouts, a small storage area, and concrete flatwork around the perimeter of the baseball and softball fields.
