Jordan M. Wright, 30, of Ponderay was arrested at 10:44 a.m. in the 100 block of East Bronx Road in Ponderay on charges of attempted strangulation, domestic battery in the presence of a child and possession of a controlled substance.

Zehnya Mowry, 33, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 476000 block of Highway 95 at 6:53 p.m. for trafficking methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and an outstanding warrant; and Tabatha Waterman, 37, of Sandpoint was cited at the same time and location on a misdemeanor charge of driving without privileges.
A felony warrant arrest was reported in the area of U.S. 95 and Schweitzer Plaza Drive at 6:53 p.m.

An officer assisted a parent in the 300 block of S. Division with a juvenile at 10:57 a.m.
An officer was unable to locate a male in the 100 block of Cedar Drive for a welfare check at 2:14 p.m.
An officer assisted a citizen in the 1600 block of U.S. 2 at 2:13 p.m.
Officers checked on a female in the 1200 block in Cedar Street at 2:28 p.m. and advised she was fine.
An officer was unable to locate two dogs at large in the 100 block of Cedar Street at 2:31 p.m.
An officer assisted a citizen in the 600 block of Church Street at 2:45 p.m.
A suicide threat was reported in the city at 2:14 p.m.
An officer was unable to locate the source of a 911 hang-up call reported in the area of S. Third Avenue at 2:46 p.m.
Two dogs found in the area of Spruce Street and N. Division Avenue at 4:26 p.m. were transported to the animal shelter.

Mark F. Rudolph of Hope, 68, was arrested in the 477000 block of Highway 95 at 5:09 p.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.
