NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Ponderay Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 5:30 p.m., Council Chambers of Ponderay City Hall, 288 Fourth Street, Ponderay, Idaho, to consider the following request: File ZC20-020 McNearney Neighborhood Zoning Map Update, The Ponderay Planning Commission has initiated a review and update of the Ponderay zoning map as it relates to the "McNearney Neighborhood". For this purpose, the "McNearney Neighborhood" shall encompasses properties located north of Kootenai Cutoff Road and south of the north end of McNearney Road, between US Highway 95 and the Union Pacific Railroad tracks in the south half of Section 2, Township 57 North Range 2 West, Bonner County Idaho. Not all parcels within the subject neighborhood have zoning district changes proposed. Proposed changes may be viewed on the City of Ponderay website at http://www.cityofponderay.org/zc20-020-mcnearney-neighborhood-zoning-map- update/. Due to the COVID19 restrictions that have been placed on gatherings of 10 or more people, only the Planning Commission and City of Ponderay Staff will be allowed on site at Ponderay City Hall, 288 4th Street, Ponderay, ID 83852 for this meeting. An electronic method of participation will be established for the applicants and the public to participate. SUMMARY OF CITY OF SANDPOINT ORDINANCE NO. 1383 Watershed Protection and Access AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANDPOINT, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, REPEALING SANDPOINT CITY CODE 9-4-3, WATERSHED PROTECTION ZONE, CREATING NEW SANDPOINT CITY CODE TITLE 7, CHAPTER 16, WATERSHED PROTECTION AND ACCESS, PROVIDING FOR REPEAL AND SEVERABILITY, AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Following is a summary of the provisions of Ordinance No. 1383. Ordinance Section 1 repeals Sandpoint City Code 9-4-3, Watershed Protection Zone in its entirety. Ordinance Section 2 creates new Chapter 16, Watershed Protection and Access, under Sandpoint City Code Title 7, Public Ways and Property, which includes penalties for a violation of the provisions of, or of a permit duly-approved under, this new chapter, along with a statement of the legal action the City may take for such violations. Ordinance Sections 3 and 4 provide for repeal and severability, publication and an effective date. This publication is a summary of the full Ordinance and is being published pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50-901A. This ordinance was passed and approved upon a proper roll call vote and duly enacted at a properly-noticed session of the Sandpoint City Council, held December 16, 2020. LEGAL NOTICE In accordance with Idaho Code sections 36-104(b) and 36-104(e), and the 2020 Big Game Proclamation of the Idaho Fish and Game Commission, Game Management Units 75, 77, and 78 are closed to the harvest of male mountain lion, effective immediately. The harvest limits for male mountain lions have been met in these units. A dog training season (pursuit only) for male mountain lion in these units will be open immediately and shall close March 31, 2021. Units 75, 77 and 78 remain open to harvest for females only, consistent with limits established in the 2020 Big Game Proclamation. In addition, there is an unestimated volume of forest products that may be removed at the option of the purchaser. Prior to bidding, eligible bidders shall present a certified check or bank draft payable to Treasurer, State of Idaho, or a bid bond acceptable to the State, in the amount of $66,077.95 which is 10% of the appraised net sale value of $660,779.50. The successful bidder's deposit will be forfeited to the State should the bidder fail to complete the contract. The State will not accept bids from parties who are delinquent on payments on existing state contracts. The average starting minimum bid price is $181.38 per MBF.
