A few thoughts on the wonders of fly fishing

Fly fishing is no longer a hobby

Once you hook that first good fighting fish

That takes five minutes or more to land.

Fly fishing has now become your sport.

Now, like any true sport, there are rules

To be followed and, while perhaps not stated,

Honesty is an integral part of the rule book.

Honesty propels any sport to a respected status.

It elevates both the man and the sport

Into a noble endeavor.
