BIG HOLIDAY BUSINESS; BRIGHT FUTURE

Local holiday trade in all lines was heavy. Delivery wagons were busy and a vast amount of goods of all kinds was handled for several days preceding Christmas. There were Christmas trees at all the churches and numerous entertainments all over the county. Many Sandpoint families kept open house and there were many elaborate Christmas dinners. We stand at the threshold of 1921 with bright hopes for the future, looking forward to a revival of building in the coming year. The needs of the city cry out for more dwellings and we confidently look for some revival in that line. The $150,000 high school will doubtless be built in the coming year. Sandpoint is reaching out for new industries; she is advertising herself to the world and she is bound to prosper.
