Action shooting sport showcases disturbing image

The Friday, July 3, sports page features a large color picture of a Sagle citizen at Spokane Valley Rifle ad Pistol Club. The man is enjoying an “action shooting sport.” The shooter targets a group of steel plates cut to create full-size images of near two dozen humans standing in a close group that appears to include half-dozen children.

Sad to see a “sport” representing an “active shooter” enjoying a shot at a model of representing a bunch of gathered folks and children. I would have expected that no one would find joy in that all-too-familiar image.
