HOPE — A Bonner County man pleaded not guilty Friday to allegations that he exposed himself to children and scuffled with an adult who intervened with the misconduct.

Michael George Gregg Jr. is scheduled to be tried on misdemeanor charges of battery and indecent exposure on Sept. 3, court records indicate.

Gregg, 32, is free on a pair of $300 surety bonds while the case is pending.

Bonner County Sheriff’s deputies were summoned to the 300 block of School Road on May 30 to investigate the incident, court records indicate. Detectives were shown video recordings of Gregg pulling his genitals out of his pants, in addition to the altercation with the man who confronted him, a deputy’s affidavit said. Gregg appeared intoxicated at the time of the incident, the affidavit further alleged.

Both offenses Gregg is charged with are punishable by up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine, according to Idaho Code.
