City hosting community Zoom talk today

SANDPOINT — The community is invited to join Sandpoint Police Chief Corey Coon for the city’s first Zoom community conversation today at 9 a.m.

Coon will be discussing the recent demonstrations and marches in Sandpoint and related rumors, including rumors of Antifa coming to Sandpoint, He will be answering questions about these topics, including the department’s role, its monitoring efforts, and the threat level to the community. Sandpoint officials encourage those interested to register for the conversation and submit their question in advance. While Coon will take questions during the meeting, he may not get to all of them.
