Lavelle Elizabeth Utt, 64, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Private family services have been held.

Lavelle was born on July 7, 1955, in Portland, Oregon, to Grant and June Hoyt. She attended Jackson High School in Portland. She married Kenneth Utt in September 1973 in Portland. Lavelle raised her children and some of their friends. In 1994, she moved to Sandpoint.

She enjoyed art, painting, gardening, and shopping at thrift stores. She also enjoyed mentoring young women.

She is survived by two daughters, Sadie Utt of Portland and Nicole (Frankie) Good of Coeur d’Alene; three sons, Nick Utt (Heidi Constantin) of Sandpoint, Nathan Utt of Coeur d’Alene and Dylan Utt of Boise; 10 grandchildren, Shay Utt, Kelcey Boss (Casey Timblin), Christian Moes, Alex (Megan) Moes, Natalie Good, Naomi Good, Nakita Good, Karissa, Cody and Mai; two great-grandchildren, Amelia Timblin, and Killian Moes; five sisters, Bunny McMahon, Gloria Ellingson, Judith Landis, Velda Hoyt, and Teresa Hoyt; and two brothers, Shane Hoyt, and Wayne Hoyt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ken; sisters Christie Hoyt and Patricia Stuva; and four brothers, Herbie Hoyt, Pete Hoyt, Randy Hoyt, and Ralph Hoyt.
