Limits lifted from some county roads

Road weight limits have been lifted in some areas of the county, according to Bonner County Road & Bridge officials.

District 1 (south of the Long Bridge) — Roads lifted from weight limits Monday, March 23, are Ivy Drive, Geaudreau Lane, Railroad Avenue, Rusho Lane, and Poirier Road. All other roads are still posted with weight limits except for the following that are posted as no hauling: E. Comeback Bay Lane, Comeback Bay Lane, Hanford Drive and Birch Banks.

District 2 (Priest River/Priest Lake) — All roads are posted with weight limits.

Eastriver Road is closed at the 6400 block due to a slide. The Eastriver Loop bridge has load restrictions of 3.2 tons per axle and a height restriction of 12-feet, 1-inch.

District 3 (Sandpoint/Clark Fork) — Roads lifted from weight limits Tuesday, March 24, are Sunnyside Road, Kaniksu Shores Road, W. Oden Bay Road, Oden Bay Drive, Providence Road, McGhee Road, Kootenai Bay Road, Whiskey Jack Road, all roads off Whiskey Jack Road, roads within Ponder Point area, Johnson Creek Road, Lightning Creek Road, Denton Road, River Road to Twin Creek Road and all roads on Hope Peninsula.

All other roads are still posted with weight limits.
