West Bonner Libraries close

As a precaution against the COVID-19 virus, West Bonner Libraries in Priest River and Blanchard will be closed until Wednesday, April 8, WSL Director Katie Crill said. The library board will reevaluate the situation on April 7, she said.

Courier service for the libraries is suspended until at least April 7 and only local items can be place on hold.

“Staff will be working on site and is happy to provide curbside service when they are available,”Crill said. “Staff will be checking email and voicemails.”

Library patrons can call 208-448-2207 and leave a message or email library staff at library@westbonnerlibrary.org with any questions and someone will respond as soon as possible, Crill said.

Wi-Fi and online services will be available are available, she said. And companies are making databases and websites available at no cost to library patrons. As links become available, Crill said the library staff will add them to the library district’s website.
