Parks and Recreation offers men’s, women’s USA softball leagues
Sandpoint Parks and Recreation is offering men’s and women’s USA softball leagues for ages 16 and up starting in May.
The men’s league will be held May 11-June 24 on Mondays and Wednesdays (possibly Fridays) at Travers Fields No. 1 and 2 from 6-9 p.m. The women’s league will be played at the same place at the same time May 12-June 25 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Each team in both leagues will play a minimum of 14 games. The leagues have a $300 sponsor fee per team and a player’s fee of $365 per team which is payable in three different ways: 1. Pay in full up-front, 2. In part (either full players or sponsor fee), or 3) By a $20 roster fee (which will be applied to the players fee).
Mandatory captains meeting will be held on Thursday, May 7 in the City Hall Council Chambers at 5:30pm.
The registration deadline is April 12. Register online at www.sandpointpidaho.gov/parksrecreation to reserve your team’s spot. All fees must be paid in full by the captain’s meeting and all players must sign the online waivers before the first game.
