BGH updates testing information

Effective, Monday, Nov. 30, the entrance to Bonner General Health's COVID-19 drive-thru will be located at N. Third Avenue and Poplar Street.
BGH now has an all-season permanent/semi-permanent structure for the drive-thru COVID-19 testing collection. This unit will have capabilities for Bonner General Health to perform year-round test collection despite weather barriers, internet connectivity allowing for quick access to patient orders, and a more efficient test collection process.
BGH officials said testing hours will remain the same, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-10 a.m.and 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Those being tested should:
• Remain in their car until it is their turn to test.
• Walk up to the trailer window for their test.
• Results should be available within 48 hours through the patient portal.
"This is a new location, some adjustments to our workflow may need to be made," BGH officials said in a press release. "We ask you to please be patient and flexible as we implement our drive-thru in this new location."
