Is commissioner aware of PHD's many, varied programs?

Just read in the paper that Steve Bradshaw wants to cut Bonner County's share of the funding for Panhandle Health District to $1. This was because they had the audacity to pass a mask mandate for the district in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19. They also provide the following services to the people in the county:

• Blood pressure management

• Breast exams

• Cancer screening (colorectal, cervical, skin, and breast)

• Dental health

• Endometrial biopsies

• Eye, ear, nose, and throat infections

• Immunizations, including travel immunizations

• Minor upper respiratory infections

• Minor skin problems (mole removal, biopsies, rashes, warts etc.)

• Minor sprains and strains

• School/sports physicals

• Thyroid

• Urinary tract infections

• Wellness exams

• Cancer screening

• Dental care

• Diabetes programs including  Type 1, 2, and gestational diabetes management

• Family planning/birth control

• HIV testing

• STI testing & treatment

• Women’s health services, including cervical polyps, colposcopy, menopausal management, pap smears and abnormal pap smear management, vaginal infections

• Fit & Fall-Proof

• Home health care

• Nurse visits to new mothers

I guess Commissioner Bradshaw is opposed to these services as well.
