Vote for sensible solutions, not sensational delusions

| September 1, 2020 1:00 AM

State Rep. Heather Scott participates in rallies against mask wearing, which makes no sense, as she purports to have a degree in a biological science.

Why, then, deny science? Why attend gatherings with no precautions, events that can spread COVID-19 to many people? Maybe it’s just another sensational act to gain attention. Like displaying a Confederate flag in a civic parade. Like rushing to Malheur Wildlife Refuge to encourage criminal acts of destruction. Like being close to Washington’s Matt Shea, who is being investigated, and dropped out of his re-election bid. Like believing the sprinkler system in her office was a listening device. The list of odd behavior, from silly to seriously dangerous, is long.

I don’t see how she has helped anyone in Idaho, and this latest escapade is dangerous and not helpful to the economy, as the rate of infection keeps rising, ensuring prolonged misery.

I’m supporting Gail Bolin to replace Representative Scott in the upcoming election. Ms. Bolin will represent all the people in her district, and will work hard to solve the problems we all face. Vote for sensible solutions, not sensational delusions. Vote for Gail Bolin and a return to sanity.
