Let the public have their input on planning decisions

| September 10, 2020 1:00 AM

The Planning and Zoning's mission statement from its website states that "the Planning and Zoning Commission is committed to protecting property rights and enhancing property values, through conscientious land-use planning."

That seems far from where they want to take the changes for zoning of future concrete plants, asphalt plants and gravel pits. With the pending changes to wording of land use, you are not protecting property rights nor are enhancing our property values.

Please be more honest with the public and allow them to have their needed input into your future decisions on land use planning and protecting property rights.
