Dorothy Lee Barfuss, 80.
With great sadness we announce the loss of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, Dorothy Lee Barfuss, 80, who passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at home surrounded by her family.
Lee was born in Warrensburg, Illinois, in 1940 and lived in various towns growing up. She married Gale Barfuss in 1958 in Sandpoint, Idaho, where they raised two daughters, Kim and Penny, and additionally cared for many foster children.
Lee was preceded in death by her parents, John L. Oxley and Dorothy Eleanor Oxley Johnson; and her youngest sister, Kay (Oxley) Tillberg.
Lee is survived by her husband, Gale; her daughters, Kim Barfuss of Sandpoint and Penny Tenuto (Frank); sisters Dee Holzer and Joyce Jenkins; her grandchildren, Stephen Tenuto and Alissa Korsak (Greg); her great-grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews.
