Elks Wednesday morning women's golf league wraps up season

SANDPOINT — Because of COVID-19, things were different for the Elks Wednesday morning women's golf league this year. We had no meetings, fundraisers or luncheons. We met at the Elks and stayed a safe distance from our teammates, careful to not expose one another.

We would meet outside on the deck and grounds and our president, Nita Garvey, would send out a schedule the evening before of which teams would be playing together. This method worked well and while we missed the interaction, we were able to stay safe.
