| April 6, 2021 1:00 AM

Weight restrictions are being lifted from some county roads, Bonner County Road & Bridge officials said Monday.

In District 1 — south of the Long Bridge — the following roads have been lifted from weight restrictions: Greenwood Avenue, Lakeview Drive, Bottle Bay Road, Lignite Road, Woolsey Road, Sagle Road, Algoma Spur, Gun Club Road, Schell Road, Ivy Drive, Heath Lake Road, E. Dufort Road, Old Highway 95, Beers Humbird Road, Westmond Road, Homestead Road, Bayview Road and Granite Loop. All other roads are still posted with weight limits.

In addition, “no hauling" restrictions are in effect on Jones Road, Birch Banks, Hanford Drive, E. Comeback Bay Lane, Otts Basin Road, and Comeback Bay Land.

In District 2 — Priest River and Priest Lake areas — all roads remain posted with weight limits.

Eastriver Road is closed from the 5700 block through the slide area due to lengthy road repairs. Please detour through Eastriver Loop. The Eastriver Loop bridge has weight restrictions of 3.2 tons per axle and a height limit of 12 feet, 1 inch.

In District 3 — Sandpoint and Clark Fork areas — all roads are posted with weight limits. In addition, no-hauling restrictions are in effect on Shadow Mountain, Park Lane, and Milk Creek and Grouse Meadows roads.

Per BCRC Ordinance #422, it shall be the responsibility of the hauler to contact the Road & Bridge Department to determine whether or not these restrictions are in place. These restrictions will remain in effect until changed, at which time updates will be posted.
