CLARK FORK — The Filling Station Youth Center in Clark Fork recently held its first 3-on-3 basketball tournament for three different age groups — adult, senior high and junior high.

The adult tournament was held March 19-21. Bradley Macumber, Kyle McMaster, Jordon Aguirre and Matt Smith of team Snow Storm claimed the championship.

The 4 Dudes 1 Hoop team consisting of Chris Cavanaugh, Bryan Koch, Cody Cavanaugh and Stillman Berkley captured second place in the double elimination tournament.

Teams from three different states took part in the event.

On March 27, the center hosted tournaments for senior high and junior high divisions.

The team of Ethan Howard, Owen Larson, Nathan Shelton and Katelyn Matteson secured the senior high title. Everett Montgomery, Jason Mayorga, Priscilla Mayorga and Aurora Lane won the junior high championship.

The games throughout all three tourneys were tightly-contested and provided plenty of excitement. Free hot dogs, pizza, chips and drinks were provided to players and spectators.

Given its success and popularity, the Filling Station is planning to make it an annual tradition, and maybe even a twice yearly event, according to Laura Emmer at the Filling Station.
