CRT is just an attempt to create victimhood

| August 3, 2021 1:00 AM

There have been several letters recently characterizing critical race theory as some innocuous "honest look at history" or idea that lawyers use in some theoretical way to "analyze policies". Boy, nothing could be further from the truth. CRT has its origins in attempts, in the '60s, to make the United States a socialist country. Because we had a robust middle class and constitutional protections, communism/socialism was unable to gain much of a toe hold, (except for Bernie Sanders of course). And we were able to watch the horrific abuses of the Soviet Union (Lenin) China (Mao) and Cambodia (Pol Pot) who brought their citizens mass starvation, gulags and executions. Wonderful socialism.

About ten years ago, someone had the bright idea to revamp the socialist push, but instead of using the proletariat they substituted racism for the evil promulgated by our capitalist society. Now comes the interesting part. The NEA, National Education Association, and the AFT, American Federation of Teachers, both powerful teacher's Unions, took up the banner of CRT. In the 2020 election cycle, they donated 65 million dollars to Democrat politicians and liberal support groups. All this to support CRT, a left wing racist and toxic ideology. Sounds a little like the "Reclaim Idaho" push, doesn't it?

If you want to know what these left wing teacher's Unions believe, google Business Item 3.9 adopted by the NEA at their annual meeting at the end of June. Critical race theory is the most racist vile ideology, based in hatred. Hatred of our country, hatred of out Federal Republic, and hatred of religion. I applaud the Idaho Freedom Foundation for their recognition of this racist threat to our country, and their commitment to fight it. Never forget, when Steve Johnson claims CRT is an "honest look at history"  that is his opinion, not fact.

I think CRT is another political attempt to create victimhood. Can't raise money if there is no victim, right? Can't make political contributions to politicians if you can't raise any money. The political juggernaut that are the teacher's unions that feed the woke left wing politicians, that still want socialism as a way of life, that is an attempt to control us all. Keep everyone down at the lowest common denominator, then all power and wealth resides with the Government. Socialism plain and simple. And around and around it goes.

I do not consent to be governed by these people.
