Diane Elizabeth Arrants

Diane Elizabeth Arrants passed away peacefully at home on Nov. 25, 2021, after a short illness surrounded by her family and beloved animals. She was a devoted wife, sister, cousin, friend and pet lover.

Diane is survived by Harley, her husband of 30 years; her sister, Nancy Rich; her niece, Suzie Cottle-Gavalla; and her cousins, Bill Mitzian, Carl Babiar, Tina Katzenberger, Sonia Grab, Paul Ricciardi, and Chris Ricciardi and their families.

Diane was born in Yonkers, New York, on April 9, 1951, to Peter and Marie Mitzian. She joined the Navy in 1971, then settled in the San Francisco Bay area in 1976 where she was a traffic engineer for the city of Cupertino, California, until she retired. She then moved to Naples, Idaho, with her husband in 2006.

Diane joined the Community Assistance League in Sandpoint in 2008, becoming co-manager at Bizarre Bazaar in 2016. She was devoted to CAL and considered all the members her friends. She was a long-time member of the Women Honoring Women committee and a Weight Watchers leader for several years.

Donations can be made to Community Assistance League in Diane's name.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
