Annual bazaar, craft sale on tap

SANDPOINT — The 2021 Christmas Fair and Craft Sale will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church this weekend.

The sale will take place at the church, 601 S. Lincoln Ave. on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 4 and 5. Hours for the traditional holiday event are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. There is no admission fee.

Vendors will present quality cottage crafts including crochet & knitted items, jewelry, clothing, needlework, affordable holiday items and gifts, handmade soaps, honey, Candyman candies, jams, Grandpa Lloyd’s sweet hot-mustard, baked goods, Christmas wreaths and swags, and more. Homemade soups and rolls will be served both days.

The event is sponsored by St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. The proceeds from the annual Christmas Fair will benefit Kowak Mission Church, hospital and girls school in Tanzania, Africa. Over the past 28 years, the money raised at this annual event has helped build a hospital and expand the boarding school through to high school, which works to further girls’ education.
