Masks help with winter snow shoveling chores

| January 19, 2021 1:00 AM

When you shovel snow or blow snow like I do, your throat gets dry and cold and more susceptible to colds or the chicom virus. Wearing a mask allows you to breathe heated, moist air and helps protect your throat from drying out. It takes me about 1 1/2 hours to clear my driveway and I tried it with and without a mask and the difference is impressive.

If you do let your throat and lungs dry out you are asking for bad things to happen. This is a great use for masks, even better than as a coffee filter.
