Edith Ann Lunn Hershey, 89, went to be with our Lord and Savior on December 24, 2020.

Edith had many fond memories of growing up on a farm on Wrenco Loop, Sandpoint, Idaho. She graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1949.

She met her husband, Jim Hershey, at Eastern Washington Teachers College in Cheney, Wash. Jim and Edie were married for 51 years, raised two kids, and traveled the world together. The little girl from Wrenco Loop visited most every state in the USA and 33 foreign countries.

Edith was a charter member of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Bellevue, Washington, where she made her home of 60 years. Edith especially loved time with her grandchildren and family, trips to the cabin on the Pend Oreille River, gardening, golf, Bible study, bingo at the VFW, and lunch dates with her girlfriends.

Edith is preceded in death by her parents (Henry and Betty Lunn), her husband, her sisters (Mary Ulrich and Dorothy Kregling), and her son (Eric Hershey). She is survived by her daughter Kym David and grandchildren Alexa David, Eric David, and Molly Robinson.

Edith is being laid to rest at Pinecrest Cemetary.
