Odds of surviving COVID-19 seem pretty good

| January 27, 2021 1:00 AM

As of January 11, per Johns Hopkins, the U.S. COVID-19 death rate, based on 331 million total population, is 0.11%... eleven-hundredths of one percent. Put another way, 1.1 deaths per thousand.

I’m 76 years old. Should I panic? I don’t think so. Eleven-hundredths of one percent doesn’t strike me as a world-ending crisis. I think my odds look pretty good, or am I missing something?

God bless America, and God bless our military.
