ORDINANCE NO. 623 CONFRANCES ZONE CHANGE FILE NO. Section 1.00. provides for an amendment of Ponderay City Code, Title 9, Chapter 1, Definitions, to add definitions for accessory dwelling unit, heavy equipment, heavy industrial and living space; Section 2.00. amends Ponderay City Code Title 9, Chapter 4, Article A, Subsection 3, Rural Zone Uses Permitted (PCC 9-4A-3) to clarify that duplex dwellings are subject to the density standards of the rural zone and adds accessory dwelling unit as a permitted use, subject to specific restrictions; Section 3.00. amends Ponderay City Code, Title 9, Chapter 4, Article B, Subsection 3, Residential Zone Uses Permitted (PCC 9-4B-3) to clarify that duplex dwellings are subject to the density standards of the residential zone and adds accessory dwelling unit as a permitted use, subject to specific restrictions; Section 4.00. amends Ponderay City Code, Title 9, Chapter 4, Article D, Subsection 3, Industrial Zone Uses Permitted (PCC 9-4D-3), to allow for light industrial, small scall manufacturing, processing, fabrication or assembly of products subject to specific criteria, equipment and automobile maintenance or repair facilities without a retail store front, rental warehouses, storage facilities, and mini storage subject to specific criteria and single-family dwelling subject to specific criteria; Section 5.00. amends Ponderay City Code, Title 9, Chapter 4, Article D, Subsection 4, Industrial Zone Special Uses (PCC 9-4D-4) to allow for heavy industrial, factories, mining related activities, asphalt batch plants and concrete plants which meet specific criteria, removes the provisions for animal clinics, orphanages, hospitals, boarding kennels and runs, animal training schools and rental warehouses and mini storage; Section 6.00. amends Ponderay City Code, Title 9, Chapter 5, Article A, Subsection 4, Height Restrictions (PCC 9-5A-4) to allow for structures in excess of two stories in any zone with approval from the planning commission.
