ORDINANCE NO. 621 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRIEST RIVER, BONNER COUNTY, IDAHO, PROVIDING FOR AUTHORITY; PROVIDING FOR ANNEXATION OF LANDS INTO THE CITY; PROVIDING FOR ZONING DESIGNATION OF SAID LANDS; PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF AN ADJACENT PARCEL; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council did hear a landowner's request for annexation of lands generally located west of Highway 57 and east of the Huckleberry Road intersection in Section 13, Township 56 North, Range 5 West, Boise Meridian, Bonner County, Idaho; and WHEREAS, the landowners provided a written request for annexation and the City Council considered said request in accordance with §50-222, Idaho Code and specifically Category A annexations as identified at §50-222, (3) (a); and WHEREAS, the City Council concluded the requested annexation meets the requirements of Category A annexations and the annexation is appropriate; and WHEREAS, the landowners also own approximately 5 acres currently within the City and adjacent to lands within the subject annexation and have requested said lands be rezoned from Mixed-Use Residential to R-2 Residential; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a duly noticed public hearing resulting in the annexation and designation of the zoning of the subject properties.
