32 participate in Elks' Hook a Kid on Golf

SANDPOINT — Over 30 youngsters recently participated in the Sandpoint Elks' annual Hook a Kid on Golf program. Participants went through a week of instruction from coaches Mike Keough and Mike Deprez, along with Tom Melia and John Vickers. A grant for $9,850 helped the Elks start the program and over 300 children have participated in it since 2012.

Here were this year's participants: Benjamin Palmer, Rajah Brown, Bailey Lancaster, Riley Lancaster, Ashwin Browm, Aspen Little Torrez, Toby Walker, Alyy Lee Little, Dallen Lee Williams, Linken Haddock, Parker Reichart, Zack Beers, Landon Fuller, Hudson Haddock, Jacob Alexander, Jasmine Alexander, Jonah Snyder, Ivey Jeffres, Lauren Bynum, Vince Gunter, Lauren Porter, Rory Stevens, Logan Bradford, Trevor Tadic, Krier Wood, Kaiden Wood, Vivi Gunter, Ali Gunter, Roger McDaniel, Maybelle Jenson, Porter Jenson and Tucker D.
