Jesse Drew Dawson, 44

Jesse Drew Dawson, 44, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Jesse was born on May 2, 1977, in Sandpoint to Michael and Debra Dawson. He grew up and attended schools in Sandpoint, graduating in 1995. Jesse did concrete work for Reader Construction for many years. After that he bartended and worked at the 219, where he became the friend of many.

He was always ready to help anyone out in any way he could. He was known for kindness to others. Jesse learned to ride a dirt bike and snowmobile at an early age with his family. He became a very accomplished snowmobiler. He climbed many mountains here. Riding with friends was his passion!

He is survived by his parents Mike and Deb Dawson of Sandpoint; sister Melissa Dawson and brother-in-law Tim Kinney of Hope; grandparents Wayne and Phyllis Townsend of Sandpoint; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jesse was preceded in death by his grandmother Alta Townsend of Sandpoint, his grandparents Deanne and John Dawson of St. Louis, and his uncle Jon Dawson of Sandpoint.

A celebration of life will be held at the 219 on August 1, beginning at 1 p.m.
