Donna Marie Boles, 82

Donna Marie Boles, 82, passed away, at her home, on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.

Family services will be held later.

Donna was on May 2, 1939, in Sandpoint, Idaho, the daughter of Gilbert and Dorothy Norlen. She attended the Kootenai School and graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1957. On August 26, 1968 she married Gilbert Boles, here in Sandpoint.

She worked in the health care field, becoming a certified nursing assistant. She retired from Life Care after working for 35 years.

Donna loved family and considered everyone that she met as “her family.” Christmas was her favorite time of year and she enjoyed sharing the holiday spirit with everyone. She enjoyed her rose garden and all of her “pets”. She had served as secretary treasurer for the Colburn Racing Association.

She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Boles; four children, Belinda (Sam) Hart, Daniel Meksch, Gilbert “Chuck Humphries (Candace), and Lisa Hackett; and four stepchildren, Cindy Wright, Jody and (Tony), Cecil Boles, and Steve (Debbie) Boles. Also surviving is her brother, Jim Norland; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Michael Norlen; and a great-grandson, Isaiah Brown.
