Michael Check, 62, was cited in the pre-100 block of Saccs Lane in Priest River at 10:45 p.m. on a charge of driving under the influence (excessive).

Jason Mathew Rivers, 42, of Cocolalla, was arrested on a Kootenai County misdemeanor warrant on a charge of failure to appear (driving without privileges and failure to provide proof of insurance).

Officers and Selkirk Fire responded to for a medical assist call in the area of Michigan Street and S. Division Avenue at 8:10 a.m.

An illegally parked vehicle was issued a parking citation on Ontario Street at 8:53 a.m.

Report of barking dogs in the 2200 block of N. Boyer Avenue at 9:18 a.m.

Report of alcohol and tobacco violations in the 600 block of Madison Avenue at 9:56 a.m.

An officer assisted a citizen in the 300 block of Railroad Depot Avenue at 11:44 a.m.

An alarm reported in the 1100 block of N. Ella Avenue at 12 p.m. was determined to be unfounded.

An officer assisted a citizen in the 500 block of Pine Street at 10:59 a.m.

Report of trespassing in the 500 block of Pine Street at 12:44 p.m.

A suspicious incident was reported in the 900 block of Cedar Street at 2:19 p.m.

Report of a family offense in the 400 block of W. Third Avenue in Kootenai at 7:42 p.m.

Lucas J. Murphy, 37, of Valley, Washington was arrested in the 1200 block of Fifth Avenue and Poplar Street at 9:13 p.m. on charges of trafficking heroin and possession of marijuana.
