Palouse Writers Guild hosting writers festival

| June 11, 2021 1:00 AM

The Palouse Writers Festival is set for Saturday, June 26, at the 1912 Center in Moscow.

A variety of workshops, panel discussions, and question-and-answer sessions will be offered throughout the day. The list of workshops includes a presentation by the Small Business Development Center, which, while geared toward writers, contains information applicable to anyone wishing to start a business in Idaho.

The event will close by opening its doors to the public for Books & Brews that evening. Books & Brews is free, family-friendly, event where participating authors will be on hand to meet with the public and autograph their books in a festive book fair atmosphere. The 16 featured authors have written over 70 titles, including: children’s books, literary fiction, non-fiction, young adult novels, horror, romance, and fantasy.

Winners of the Palouse Writers Guild First Chapter Contest will be awarded at 6:30 p.m. during the Books & Brews event.

For more information, to register, and to see a list of participating authors, go online to the Palouse Writers Guild website, www.palousewritersguild.org.
