Thomas 'TC' Brown Jr., 84

Thomas “TC” Brown Jr., 84, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Funeral services, with military honors, will on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 11 a.m., in Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel. Dale Coffelt will be officiating, with burial in the Westmond Cemetery

Tom was born on March 29, 1937, in San Angelo, Texas, attended local schools and graduated from the Robert Lee Texas High School in 1955. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1956, serving for 23 years, retiring as a master sergeant. He served as an “inflight refueler,” fueling fighter jets in midair. During his military service he lived in England for two years, and in Guam for four years. He retired in 1980 and moved to the Sagle, Idaho, area.

He married Julia Ford on March 15, 2012, in Sandpoint.

He was a lifetime member of the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Inflight Refueling Association. He was also a member of the Eagles Lodge, in Hayden, Aerie #480. He enjoyed needlepoint, his yard and building “things.” At one time he took two years to complete a special doll house.

He is survived by his wife, Julia Brown, in Sagle; also surviving are four children, Kevin L. Brown, Cecelia S. Brown, Christopher P. Brown, and Thomas E. Brown. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, stepchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
