Clark Fork hosting pair of volleyball camps in July

CLARK FORK — Local volleyball players are invited to attend a pair of volleyball camps in Clark Fork in July.

The first will be held on Friday, July 9 and is for players entering grades 3-8. The second is set for Thursday, July 29 is for players entering grades 8-12.

The July 9 camp is hosted by the Clark Fork High School volleyball team and its coaches. Players will be introduced to fundamental skills and have the chance to put those skills to work in drills and fun game settings.

The camp will run from 10 a.m-2 p.m., with a short lunch break midway. The deadline to sign-up for this camp is Saturday, June 26.

The July 29 camp will be hosted by North Idaho College volleyball coaches Kelsey Stanley and Robin Reese. That camp will run from 10 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m., with a short lunch break between the two sessions.

The deadline to sign up for the NIC camp at CFHS is Friday, July 16.

Both camps will be held at Clark Fork Jr./Sr. High School, located at 502 North Main St. Players need to bring court shoes, knee pads, a water bottle and lunch.
