Newport Rodeo celebrates return
After a year away because of the pandemic, the Newport Rodeo returned this weekend with a full slate of activities.
While last year had to be canceled due to the pandemic, Ray Hanson, president of the Newport Rodeo Association said the Newport Rodeo has been a fixture in the community for more than 70 years. And its return was celebrated with a full slate of competitors and a packed house.
