Notice of Public Hearings Notice is hereby given that public hearings pursuant to Idaho Code and Dover City Code have been set for the Dover City Council on March 29, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. at Dover City Hall, 699 Lakeshore Ave., Dover, to consider the following: FILE ZC02-21, KELLY AND ALBERT CZAP are requesting a zone change to Commercial for three adjacent parcels that are the site of the facility formerly known as the Thorne Research Center. The properties are divided by Commercial and Residential zoning, and the applicants are requesting Commercial zoning for the parcels. The subject parcels total 8.162-acres and are located at 25820 and 25822 Highway 2. The properties' parcel numbers are RPD0486000000AA, RPD00000297079A, and RPD00000297081A, and are located in Sections 29 and 32, Township 57 North, Range 2 West, B.M. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended to City Council approval of the zone change at its March 4, 2021 public hearing. FILE SUPM03-21, KELLY AND AL CZAP are requesting approval to modify terms of the Thorne Research Special Use Permit issued by the City of Dover in 1996 to encompass a broader scope of uses allowed by the Commercial zone and consistent with the operations of the original permit. The modifications requested include: light manufacturing and processing of dietary and food products, warehousing, professional offices, public access to existing cafeteria, customer tours and tasting, testing related to processing, wholesale and retail sales, shipping, and receiving. The subject parcels total 8.162-acres and are located at 25820 and 25822 Highway 2. The properties' parcel numbers are RPD00000297079A, Tax 14 less Tax 42 and a portion of Tax 43 and 44 of Section 29; RPD00000297081A, Tax 44 of Section 29; and RPD0486000000AA, Welty Addition Tax 15 less west 50 feet and less Tax 22 of Section 32 and are located in Sections 29 and 32, Township 57 North, Range 2 West, B.M. The public is encouraged to attend the hearings or provide written response. The City requires those attending to observe the Idaho Rebounds physical distancing and precautionary measures.
